Charming decor, but a noisy night
Hotel Santillana boasts a unique museum-like atmosphere filled with antique furniture, making it a delightful spot for history buffs. The location is perfect for strolling around Santillana del Mar, with easy access to restaurants and shops.
However, my room faced a busy street which made it quite noisy at night, especially without air conditioning. Despite being clean, I found the bed smaller than expected, affecting my comfort for a restful sleep.

Beautifully decorated with antique furniture throughout.
Our room was on a busy intersection, making sleep nearly impossible due to traffic noise. Even with windows closed, it was hot, and without AC or a fan, we were extremely uncomfortable. The bed was smaller than expected, leading to poor rest.

We loved exploring the nearby trails for biking, and spending fun afternoons at the beaches. The hotel’s antique decor added a special charm, making our stay unique. Our daughter especially enjoyed playing in the beautiful gardens around the property.
In my wife’s opinion, a small refrigerator would have been helpful for family snacks.
